First turns of the season on the shoulder of Bull Trout Mountain.

We met in Banks for the drive up to the mountain. It had been a while, so the socializing was very pleasant.

Bob had been here recently, so knew how to find the trail through the lodgepole. And then it was up and up and up.

We had a leisurely lunch, then climbed a bit more to warm back up.

The snow wasn't super deep, but it was in good condition.

Early season means not being used todragging around those heavy boards. In light of the depth issues, we left after just one run. A really GOOD run, though. Trailhead
