We met in Banks for the drive up to the mountain. It had been a while, so the socializing was very pleasant.

Bob had been here recently, so knew how to find the trail through the lodgepole. And then it was up and up and up.

Looking easterly across Highway 20 to Copper Mountain.

We had a leisurely lunch, then climbed a bit more to warm back up.

Then it was time for turns.

The snow wasn't super deep, but it was in good condition.

Early season means not being used todragging around those heavy boards. In light of the depth issues, we left after just one run. A really GOOD run, though. Trailhead
