We had planned our family reunion for the Oregon coast. We had reservations for the state park, and the family wasn't changing plans just because I had a broken leg. |

So this morning the plan was to hike Humbug Mountain. Without me. But at least Julie and Jazz would be going. |

The coast is one of Julie's favorite places. They have big trees there. |

As usual with this many hikers, interests vary. It's like herding cats. |

But occasionally yo an get everyone together, if only briefly. |
 |
