We may love getting fresh tracks on Mores, but what we really love is getting the very closest parking space to the lodge. So we got there at 6am.

Even after skiing across the Lodge Trail and down to the Mores Mountain picnic area, it was still dark.

There was lots of fresh snow, and it was snowing hard. Carl hasn't fallen (he rarely does)- his pants are white from fluff flying up into his lap in the turns.

There are lots of little "shots" on Mores if you know the mountain. Snow eddies into some of the gullies, piling 6" of fresh into knee-deep ecstasy.

Or is that chest deep?

Carl makes it all look easy.
