This was John and Jasmine's first trip to the Seven Devils. We did the long drive from McCall to Riggins, then up the steep 8 mile climb to the parking lot of Heaven's Gate lookout. A short hike through some snow to the lookout was rewarded with this view of the Devils. |

If it looks like maybe it was a little cold, you would be correct. The Seven Devils often get early snow- and this was just September. |

However, if we had been there a week later, you could have ice-skated on Seven Devils Lake. |
