A day hike and some bouldering in the Danskins near Mayfield

| I had spotted this area on a mountain bike ride from Highway 93 to Boise. We all drove out the Mayfield road early on a Saturday. |

A closer inspection on foot confirmed what I thought I had seen from my bike; there were granite spires everywhere. |

| Tom regretted not bringing his climbing shoes, and perhaps a rope. |  |
We had a picnic beside one of the taller towers. After walking around and inspecting many more rocks, we headed home. We'll come back with some gear. |
