After spending a very cold night in the tent down by the Salmon River, we drove into Redfish Lake and began the hot, dusty hike up to the Bench Lakes.

Although the morning had been cold, the afternoon was not. It was nice to find a shady spot for some lunch.

Jasmine loved crawling around in the woods, which of course worried her mother to death.
Julie showed Jasmine how cold the water was. The view of Mt. Heyburn from the uppermost of the five lakes is incredible.
