Julie wanted to go camping. So we decided to climb the Middle Sister from the west, because we were living in Eugene. That's the South Sister behind me. |

We got started at a leisurely hour the following day. The sun was getting pretty high before we summitted. That was fine, because we weren't carrying any snow climbing gear. |
